There are
far too many vendors of television
entertainment equipment to effectively
list them all on this site. Instead, it might be more worthwhile
to provide a few ideas
for allowing a more fruitful search. Alternate
providers can be found with the right search
terms. Sometimes the name
of a vendor doesn't say it all. While
"Charlie's Photo" may have started
that way, Charlie may also be selling plasma
acreens now. Be imaginative and try key
words in your search that may indirectly
find what is desired. Try key words
such as these in various combinations: photo,
stereo, antenna, video, batteries, camera,
camcorder, records, DVD, music, karaoke,
movies, home theater, music downloads, flat
TV, satellite,
DVR, and so on. Add your city or state
when the intention is to buy locally rather
than through the internet

Most of the
major manufacturers and vendors of television
broadband equipment and test equipment are probably known to
those who might be viewing this site. Instead
of trying to list them all, it may be more worthwhile
to provide a few ideas
for allowing a more fruitful search. While entering "headend"
and "modulator" might seem
obvious when searching for that product,
how about "agile" as well? Instead
of just "processor", which has
several meanings, how about "digital
processor"? This may narrow the
search to desired hits. Sometimes
extra words can bring the focus on what
is being sought. Even if filters are
not the desired product, will "bandpass filters"
yield other headend products in a search?
Can't think of the less obvious terms?
Look at a trade journal or the bullet
glossary
on this site to pick key
words concerning the item
of interest.
